Dismantling Vølund Senior: |

Since Vølund Senior has arrived to Esbjerg it had its place in one of the small buildings so the team could work with the roller not disturbing the production. The first big task was dismantling and registration of the roller. Unfortunately we have no drawings, therefore it is important that the dismantling is recorded. The boiler is dismantled and ready for wall thickness measurements of the different parts. Nearly all are OK. The front hole plate is too thin which also is the case for a part of the flange in the bottom. The hole plate in the fire box is pretty worn between the tubes. |
